BRICKOMATIC / FOR THE WONDER YEARS

A box of bricks.
A classroom of
possibilities.

Start with your LEGO® Education set or choose a lesson without one. Pick what you want to teach, then let your students imagine, build, and discover.

Turn the pieces you already have into meaningful learning. You bring the encouragement. We help you make room for the extraordinary thinking that follows.

A CHALLENGE, WITH ROOM TO BREATHE

Give them a question.
Let them surprise you.

One child imagines a moon garden. Another, a place for a friend. Both can explore the same scientific idea. The challenge sets a thoughtful boundary; the making belongs to them.

01

Choose the learning.

Pick a grade and subject. Find a clear goal worth exploring.

02

Offer a challenge.

Children build, test, explain, and make it their own. You know what learning to look for.

03

Gather and teach.

Show us your box.

Point your camera at the set name and number. We’ll help you find a supported kit.

Photos stay on this device. No account needed. The first scan may take a little longer.

Six Education kits currently support our original brick-only challenges. Other kits can still be a starting point for mixed-brick activities.

A QUICK CHECK

Is this your set?

A few pieces may be missing. We’ll start with flexible brick challenges and show the short supplies list.

We plan around the kit’s usual connecting bricks. A box photo does not check its contents. No motors or sensors needed.

THE TEACHER’S DESK

Start with a question.
Build understanding.

90 illustrated activities. Ten for every grade, K–8.
Art lives in all four subjects.

1 Choose the learning

Gather before class

Start with ordinary classroom bricks. No scanning or kit selection needed.

Optional: use a kit or a reviewed collection

Only use these tools if you want help with your materials. They are not needed to choose or print a challenge.

YOUR PIECES. YOUR STARTING POINT.

Use a kit or collection

These tools are optional. Your lesson can start with ordinary classroom bricks.

US standards targets. Check local adoption and learner readiness. No login needed.

FOUR BRICKS. FOUR NEW POSSIBILITIES.

Small challenges.
Big “I did it” moments.

Sample lessons for Grade 2, usually ages 7–8.
One clear goal. Their own way to get there.

Each example starts with four connecting bricks per group, paper, and pencils. Choose a challenge above to prepare the printable teacher guide and student challenge. No inventory needed.

A confident starting point

Children can point, draw, build, or speak to share an idea. Begin with noticing differences, counting a small collection, and taking turns. Prerequisite links suggest helpful earlier learning; they are not a test or a gate. Choose support for the learner, then try the task with the actual pieces.

Library version 4 is ready for educator review. These are focused US standards-linked activities, not a complete curriculum or standards-body endorsement.
